We're doing a lets-make-a-play exercise with some kids in this town I grew up in. They're part of a more or less marginalized community and few people pay any good attention to them, poor kids. I'm hoping we can do some community development in the guise of art-making, so that, in the end, they won't feel quite so alone in the world.

They'll write and perform their own show, with me in the role of head-writer/director. It's a nice way to get back and help out and all that, and of course, every time you teach your process, you get better at it, so I'm also hoping to learn something from them as well!
